By the Bay 3K Race Series


$5.00 for children and youth ages 4 through 17
$20.00 for adults ages 18 and over


8:00 a.m. for both the November and April events


Saturday, November 8, 2015 for the fall event
Saturday, April 25, 2015  for the spring event

START/FINISH LOCATIONS: The 3K starts and finishes at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove for both the November and April events.                        



Must be four years of age or older and in good health to participate.  This is a non-competitive fun run. 


The November 3K is a timed event, with timing provided by SVE Timing.  The event remains non-competitive, however, with no overall or divisional winners.

Pre-registration for the November race will close Tuesday, November 11th at midnight and resume on November 14th at the Health & Fitness Expo from noon to 5:00 PM or on race morning at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove beginning at 6:30 AM.


Bib numbers and participant shirts may be picked up on the Friday prior to the event at the Health & Fitness Expo in the Monterey Conference Center from noon to 6:00 p.m.  There is also race morning pick-up at the event start beginning at 6:30 AM at Lovers Point Park.

RACE DAY PARKING  Parking is available in city lots or on neighborhood streets. Be sure to note any parking enforcement signs and hours. For a parking map, click HERE.

COURSE & MAP: The course is an out and back one beginning and ending at Lovers Point. The 3K turnaround is at Coral Street.  Runners go west in the inland lane and after turning around, return to the finish in the ocean-side lane.  To view a map of the 3K course, click HERE.                      


All participants receive a unique aquatic-themed t-shirt and a finisher's medallion.  There will be pre- and post-race activities for the kids at Lovers Point Park.
