Pacific Grove Lighthouse 5K

Registration for the Saturday, November 7, 2015 Pacific Grove Lighthouse 5K will open April 1, 2015.
ENTRY FEE:

$30.00 Adults 18 and older
$20.00 Youth 17 and younger
Active Military are eligible for a $5.00 discount that may be selected during the registration process. Not applicable for military spouses or dependents.

Pre-registration for the 5K will end Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  It will resume at the Expo on Friday, November 14th, from noon to 6:00 PM and also on race morning at Lovers Pointl Park beginning at 6:30 AM.

Entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE!

START TIME: 8:30 AM
PARTICIPANT PERKS  All participants receive a cotton unisex sized t-shirt and finisher's medallion. Following the race, there will be refreshments and post-race entertainment at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS: You must be five years of age or older and in good health. Race is limited to 1,000 participants, both walkers and runners are welcome. Race numbers are required to take part in the event. Dogs and children in strollers may participate but must start in the back.

PACKET PICKUP: Bibs and event shirts must be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, November 14th. A Photo ID is required for packet pickup. The Expo is held at the Monterey Conference Center at One Portola Plaza in Monterey, adjacent to the Portola Hotel & Spa.
Hours are noon to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

If you are unable to pick-up Friday, there will be race morning pick-up at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove beginning at 6:30 AM.
REGISTRATION: Online registration is provided by Active.com. You may register online by clicking HERE.  There are no paper registration forms available. If you want to pay by check, email sally@bsim.org on how to proceed. There will be an additional administrative fee of $5 for this type of registration.
CONFIRMATION: If you register online and provide a valid email address, you will be emailed confirmation at the time of registration. Confirmations are generated automatically by Active.com, but firewalls or spam filters on your computer may prevent it from reaching you.  Entries may also be confirmed at the Half Marathon registration link under "Entry Confirmation". Type in LAST NAME ONLY to verify your information.  If you "opted out" of having your information shown on the confirmation page you will be unable to confirm your entry online.  A photo ID is required to pick up your bib, chip and race packet.
RACE DAY PARKING: On race day, there will be parking available in the Pacific Grove public parking lots and on neighborhood streets.  Click HERE to see the location of the city lots.
COURSE & MAP: The 5K course is USATF certified.  It is an out-and-back course beginning and ending at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove with a turn-around near Pt. Pinos. To view a course map, click HERE.           
AWARDS: Awards will go three deep in 5-year age divisions after 5-8, 9-11, 12-14, and 15-19.  There will also be an award for the overall male and female and the overall masters (age 40 and over) male and female runners.  The awards ceremony will take place in Jewell Park beginning at 9:30 AM.
