Headquarters for the Half Marathon is in Monterey, 110 miles south of San Francisco, 400 miles north of Los Angeles. You can fly directly into Monterey Airport; other airport options include San Jose, (70 miles away), San Francisco and Oakland (110 miles). The Monterey Marriott and the Portola Hotel & Spa are the Headquarter Hotels for the 2010 Big Sur Half Marathon on Monterey Bay. Located in downtown Monterey at Fisherman's Wharf, both hotels overlook Monterey Bay and are located at the start/finish area of the Half Marathon. Both hotels are also adjacent to the Monterey Conference Center, site for registration, packet pick-up and the Half Marathon Expo. |

Please note availability of rooms at these discounted rates is limited so reserve your room early. Two night minimum required. A deposit equal to one night's room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file for each reservation on November 9, 2010. Refunds will be given if cancellation is received at least forty eight (48) hours prior to arrival date. |
